CHED Scholarships

SMU IS DELIVERING HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION (DHEI) OF 14 GRADUATE PROGRAMS FOR CHED’S K TO 12 TRANSITION PROGRAM In its memorandum posted last March 11, 2016, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has designated Saint Mary’s University as one of the 88 higher education institutions (HEIs) to deliver graduate programs across the country for its K to 12 Transition Program, as per CMO No. 8, Series of 2016. Through this program, faculty and staff in HEIs can avail of scholarships from these CHED-recognized delivering HEIs (DHEIs) during the K to 12 transition period (2016 – 2021). The scholarships cover actual school fees, book allowance, thesis allowance, and monthly stipend of P20, 000.00 for the master’s level and P28, 000.00 for the doctoral level. SMU is specifically authorized to accept scholars for the following graduate programs starting first semester of schoolyear 2016 – 2017: PhD in Educational Management PhD in Science Education major in Mathematics Master in Business Administration MA Education major in Guidance and Counseling MA Language (English) MA Teaching Biology MA Teaching Chemistry MA Teaching English MA Teaching Filipino MA Teaching Physics MA Teaching Social Studies Master of  Information Technology major in Software Development MS Biology MS Teaching Mathematics Please visit the Graduate School Office, 2nd Floor,  Rev.
